China Fiber: Up to 12 Million Years of Production Capacity of Fiber Optic Connectors

As the leading fiber optic connector manufacturer in China, China's optical fiber currently accounts for nearly 20% of the domestic market. It is reported that China Fiber plans to increase the production capacity of fiber optic connectors from 9 million to 12 million by the end of 2011 and the annual processing volume of steel plates from 1,300 tons to 7,700 tons. The production capacity of soft fiber optic cable (connector core material) will be increased from 13,000 km to 130,000 km. Such vertical integration will deepen the company's gross profit margin.

Judging from the overall situation, the broadband fiber access rate and penetration rate in China are still at a backward level. The speed of fiber access is imperative. Telecom operators will vigorously build FTTX networks in the next few years. Optical distribution equipment is the first investment, and China's optical fiber will also benefit from it.

It is understood that China's optical fiber production of FC fiber optic connector in 2001 by the Ministry of Information Industry telecommunications equipment network access license, China Mobile and China Telecom qualified suppliers. The company produces more than 100 fiber optic connectors, covering FC, LC, SC and fiber optics.
